Godly Truths
Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective.

James 5:16 · World English Bible
Private religion will only take you as far as your own excuses. James wants the sin in the open, among brothers, with prayer attached: confess to one another, pray for one another, that you may be healed. Healing, in this verse, is a community project.
You have been confessing to God and then going right back to the same dark. That is not because God failed. It is because you needed a witness. A faithful man in the room changes the math. Shame starves when it is named in the light.
Pick someone who fears God more than he fears awkwardness. You do not need a speech. You need a true sentence and a request: pray for me.
Today’s Challenge
Tell one trusted man the thing you have only told God, and ask him to pray for you by name.
Pray
Lord, I am done hiding in private. Give me a brother to confess to, and make me safe for someone else's confession. Heal what I will not let You touch alone. Amen.
